December 29th, 2011 -- From August 2011 to August 2012, LLTK is celebrating its 25th anniversary year. On November 10, 2011, we held a celebratory gala in Seattle. Our "25th Anniversary Retrospective Video" premiered at the event.

September 1st, 2011 -- Long Live the Kings will celebrate its 25th year of restoring wild salmon and steelhead and supporting sustainable fishing with a public salmon homecoming open house at Glenwood Springs—our original, natural-rearing salmon hatchery on Orcas Island—on Saturday, September 24, 2011.

June 19th, 2011 -- LLTK was thrilled to co-present a book event with Elliott Bay Bookstores on June 6. Author Paul Greenberg stopped in Seattle as part of a tour for the paperback release of FOUR FISH: The Future of the Last Wild Food, a New York Times and Los Angeles Times bestseller, and one of the New York Times 100 Notable Books of 2010.

May 14th, 2010 -- On April 29th, LLTK's Lilliwaup Hatchery hosted a group of 35 student chefs from the Culinary Institute of America (CIA). The visit was the fourth that the CIA has made to Lilliwaup, as part of their two-week coursework in sustainable food systems.
