In Memoriam: LLTK Board Member Doug Henderson,1949-2010

Douglas F. Henderson, cherished friend and long-time champion of wild salmon, died unexpectedly on January 3, 2010. We will miss him in the boat and on the golf course; over a meal and over a laugh. Long Live the Kings extends its deepest sympathies to Doug’s family.
Doug served Long Live the Kings and salmon recovery as member of our Board of Directors for 20 years, from 1990 to 2010. Our board members and staff grieve the loss of this kind and gentle man. We remember him as naturally positive and optimistic, someone who always pitched in. Doug was one of the architects of our committee structure, and as an active member of our Executive Committee and then the Finance & Administration Committee, he helped ensure that the management of our organization was crisp, effective, legal, and inspired.
