Welcome to the New lltk.org! Take a Look at What's Changed
Posted on: March 1st, 2010

You may have already noticed that things look a little different around here. We've made some changes to lltk.org aimed at providing you with more frequent, relevant, and timely information about our work.
We've also arranged things in a way that we think is more intuitive: you'll be able to find the latest news on our current projects, as well as archival information about past efforts, in a way that is logical and straight-forward.
Changes include:
-
A new homepage: One-click access to our primary projects, current program updates, our donation gateway, and the latest news from LLTK
-
All current and past projects arranged into two distinct pathways that define LLTK's work: Improving Management and Rebuilding Populations
-
The What's New page: Your one-stop resource for all LLTK news, updates, staff and Board changes, and special programs and promotions
-
Project updates on the project pages: Now, while you're learning about LLTK's role in the Hood Canal Steelhead Project, for example, you'll see current project updates and news right in the sidebar on that page. No more waiting for an LLTK E-News or searching around on the site to find out the latest project information
-
Handy cross-navigation. We've linked content areas throughout the site, helping to illustrate the many connections between our projects, partners, and areas of expertise. While you're reading about the Puget Sound and Coastal Washington Hatchery Reform Project, you'll notice convenient links to other related hatchery reform efforts
-
The LLTK Roundtable. A feature we launched last fall that now has it's own permanent home on the site. We'll continue to draw on LLTK's broad and diverse network of experts to host online conversations about current issues in salmon recovery and sustainable fisheries.
We hope you find these changes and new features useful and informative. If you'd like to share your feedback about the new lltk.org with us, you can do so by using the Contact Us form.
